We started a new company with a title that fits exactly what we do. It’s name is Outsourced Writing Solutions. OWS can help large companies and small businesses with all of their writing needs.
My company, ACME Writing, has a generic name that doesn’t really disclose the services we provide. After all, the business I am in is to provide press releases, ad copy, marketing collateral, biographies and web content for companies in the U.S. and around the globe.
When the company is a large business and they want some fresh thinking and new ideas brought to the table, they hire me. Small businesses just need someone who can write professionally. In both cases, there is a clear benefit to the business to outsource this function.
