Good-bye Domain Names

It’s time to auction off many of the domain names in my portfolio.  Some, I have owned for 15 or 18 years. Others I bought as an investment and for no other reason.  Right now, CanadianBakers.com and Austria4Fun.com are both at auction. The latter one will be offered with the corresponding .net as well.  Some of my most prized domains, like NewsofJoy.com and PhotoEscape.com will hit the auction block as well.

Tomorrow morning, bright and early, a tree service is scheduled to arrive and cut down our two larger Mexican Fan Palm trees.  Considering the danger of one of the trees landing on our garage, or a fire hydrant or a passing car, I was given assurances by the owner that they will guide the trees down into a safe zone.  They better be right.
(Update: decided against risking an accident with the falling trees after the tree service missed a couple of appointments. Have negotiated with an arborist that does it the right way. Had to get approval from the HOA because removing two palm trees is an “architectural change.”)
