Some commercials are worth watching. Subaru got this one right. The two surfers, the grandpa (played by real surfer William “Harbor Bill” Mulcoy) and grandson, strike out in the early morning from different origination locations. Grandpa tells grandma that he is going fishing. Paired with the song “Rolling Sea” by Vetiver, this commercial paints a short story of family, love of the ocean and different generations with two things in common. My first new car was a Subaru, so that is just one more reason I like this commercial.
