The Making of 10cc’s “I’m Not in Love”

This may be one of the most fascinating videos I have watched in a long time.  For anyone who is a baby-boomer, the 1975 10cc hit “I’m Not in Love” is one you will surely remember. But, few people really understand the back-story of the making of the song.  How did they produce the background effects and deep harmony heard throughout the song?  Who contributed the “big boys don’t cry” portion? The original plan was not to include the melody. Think about that.

Take 14 minutes and enjoy hearing the story directly from the members and producers of 10cc. They tell an interesting, engaging and compelling story.
