If you didn’t already know it, I am a full-time remote freelance writer.
I was watching a Youtube video created by a content creator who specializes in blogging and freelance writing. She was making the point of using a personal blog as a freelance business tool for promotion. I have never used this blog in any serious way to do that. As a matter of fact, I have posted more video content than written content. When you spend many hours daily writing for clients, writing on a blog is just work.
The Youtube person was adamant about the benefits of using your own blog for this purpose, so I will take her advice and share a few things about what I do every day as a freelance remote writer.
I have written hundreds of ghost-written and by-lined articles for trade journals and magazines. Because my niche is financial services, after spending more than two and a half decades in that profession, my writing has often included newsletter articles and blog posts for investment advisors. My experience as a principal and compliance manager helps with constructing content that passes the compliance litmus test in most cases without a hitch.
In addition to these two areas of specialty, I also write web page content, product descriptions and bios and do each very well.
So, to be quite clear about what I do and what I offer to those seeking a remote freelance writer, my offerings include:
- Article Writing for consumer magazines, trade journals and newsletters
- Financial writing for investment advisors and wealth managers
- Biographies for anyone who needs one, including leadership and managers
- Web content for any industry, service or product
- Product descriptions
- Press Releases
If you stumbled upon this blog because a search term led you here organically, that is a good thing. If you read about me somewhere else and searched my name and found this blog, that is a good thing also. Either way, if you need professional writing and care about quality, then contact me and let me know what you need.
After all the videos, this is the first official self-promotion blog post in a long time. Hope it helps you find your perfect writer.
