John Hook, anchor at the Phoenix affiliate of Fox News interviewed two local Arizona sheriffs on his show Newsmaker Saturday on June 12. The sheriffs, from Cochise County, on the border, and Pinal County, just a short drive from the border, give their firsthand experiences with the recent influx of undocumented people streaming over the border. They explain what really happens once they encounter people who have entered the U.S. illegally. It is an eye-opening interview. Hook did a more recent show, on 6/26, where he talks with a reporter who has been spending time on the border and who interviewed many of the “migrants.” I will post that interview when it becomes available. It is enlightening.
