I have to admit, I have been slow to warm up to EVs. It was only a few months back when I realized how cool the Tesla X was. The current “Plaid” edition has over a thousand horsepower and goes from 0 to 60 in a blistering 2.5 seconds. Yes, that is an SUV. It has a range of 340 miles and has an accessory list that is amazing.
But, the new Ford F-150 Lightning does not take a back seat to any vehicle on the road when it comes to the features list. Under the front hood, there is plenty of storage space for things you want to keep out of sight or just dry. There are outlets galore in the front, in the rear and in the interior. You can even power your house during a power outage.
Lew, of Unbox Therapy fame, is joined by another famous Youtuber, Peter McKinnon, to tour the new F-150 Lightning and show all the neat bells and whistles that the smartest people at Ford came up with. It would be just as much at home on a long trip, tailgating at your favorite college football game or on the job site. Good job Ford.
