It seems almost mind-boggling to think that we have video of any person who fought in the Civil War. After all, the war ended in 1865. How would it be possible to be able to interview a participant on video? It was possible and it did happen. This video was taken in 1929. The two men are 84 and 94-years old. The 84-year old does most of the talking, and although I normally like patriotic music, the interview would be even better if they could remove the music in the background. The bottom line is that you are watching a piece of U.S. history that few people will ever see. Two living Civil War veterans discussing the war from 159 years ago.
