Alice Cooper – An Incredible Story

Alice Cooper was one of the biggest rock stars of the 70s with the mega-hit “Eighteen” that came out in 1970. He didn’t plan on having a mega-hit, but he first heard the song on the radio on station CKLW and realized that he had made it. Alice (Vincent Furnier) sat down with pastor Greg Laurie for a very revealing and candid interview, discussing his drug and alcohol addictions. Alice is very candid about the low points in his life and his faith in Jesus Christ. When Alice had reached his mental end, and was near suicide, he rebounded. He has had hits like “Elected,” “Hello Hooray,” “Under My Wheels,” “Schools Out,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and many more.

Cooper considers himself first, a child of God, not a rock star. His wife is a Christian as well. The interview shows that someone who was caught up in the rock star lifestyle does not have to succumb to it as so many have. Cooper knew many of the members of the “27 club” personally. A great interview and insight into the real Alice Cooper.
