Newest Camera

After many years as a photographer, I have owned many camera and have used most of the major systems. The Pentax K-1 is gone and has been replaced with a Nikon D810 and several Nikon lenses. The new camera will have to be put though the paces in the weeks ahead; a concours car show in Fountain Hills and a day at the botanical gardens.

I have five Nikon brand lenses to use, a battery vertical grip and several batteries. Need to see about getting a hood loupe to see the LCD screen better in bright sunlight and need a few more filters.

Will sell a couple of the current camera bags/backpacks I don’t use and will get another photo backpack. Like many photographers, it’s often the ritual of selling equipment and buying new equipment with the proceeds. Only wish I hadn’t sold my flagship Nikon flash unit a couple of years back. It would have come in handy.

I will also most likely sell a few of the new lenses and buy one or two others that will get more use. That’s just how it works.

Sedona in the spring would be a great destination for some landscape photography. Time to start adding to the Instagram and 500px pages once more.
