The Common Enemy

The social debate in America seems to be between right and left; conservatives and liberals. But, that is not the case. Traditional liberals and conservatives have several things in common. They both respect the Bill of Rights and the shared rights that all Americans have to those rights.

Liberals and conservatives have many shared goals to better America and better the world.

A third group, the modern left, does not believe that all Americans have rights. They believe that freedom of speech is reserved for only certain segments of American culture. They have reservations about freedom of religious expression. They do not share goals for the future of America with the other two groups.

This 5-minute video frames it all very well.
