The Dangers of TikTok; Damaging the Next Generation

In 1838, Abraham Lincoln said in a speech that America would be destroyed from within its borders. What could not be imagined at the time, by the future president or anyone else, was that the control of that destruction would come from afar, but it would enter America like a Trojan horse and damage a whole generation of Americans. Nobody in the 1830s or even the 1970s could have imagined that every young American would be in possession of a wireless phone that would be their most prized possession.  Nobody during the 1970s or even early 2000s could have imagined that an app on those phones, produced in China, would be capable of capturing all of the owner’s personal data and sending that data back to a communist government.

What is even worse than that scenario is that the app is programmed to be destructive to the user and it employs an AI-guided algorithm that both captures the attention of the user and feeds them non-stop propaganda and destructive cultural programming that both damages those consuming that content and damages American culture. It creates cultural rot. Since the U.S. is seen as an enemy by the communist Chinese; this clever method of cultural deterioration is not deeply entrenched in American culture.

Those in Gen-Z are so addicted to TikTok, just as the apps producer had planned, that they cannot give it up. The end result is the same as a heroin addict unable to give up the drug. As the use continues, the damage gets worse.  Watch this short video to understand more.
